Welcome to Flower Haven Farm, a South African-based cut flower farm offering seasonal floral products, botanical items, on-farm experiences, and educational workshops and talks.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all visitors, customers, and users of our website, farm, and related services. By accessing or using any of our offerings, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
01. Definitions
- “We”, “Us”, “Farm” or “Our” refers to Flower Haven Farm, its owners, staff, and authorised representatives.
- “You” or “Customer” refers to any person interacting with our business, whether online or in person.
- “Services” include online orders, farm visits, bouquet picking, workshops, talks, and tours.
- “Products” refer to all floral items, botanical goods, and related merchandise available for sale.
02. Online Store Terms
- All product prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
- Orders must be paid in full before dispatch or pickup using secure payment methods (e.g., card, EFT, SnapScan).
- Product photos are for illustrative purposes—flowers are seasonal and naturally variable.
- We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order for reasonable cause, including limited availability.
03. Deliveries & Collections
- Delivery is available within selected regions and subject to courier schedules.
- Delivery charges will be shown at checkout and vary based on location.
- Collection of online orders may be arranged by appointment or during published business hours.
03. Pricing & Payment Terms
- The prices reflected on our website are retail prices (including VAT, if applicable) and are subject to change.
- All our customers are COD or pre-paid, unless an account is in place.
04. Cancellation & Refunds
- Due to the perishable nature of flowers, no refunds or exchanges are offered unless the product is damaged or incorrect on delivery.
- Please inspect your order upon receipt and report issues within 24 hours by email or phone.
- For non-perishable items, returns may be accepted within 7 days if the item is unused and in original condition (at your own cost).

Refunds (if approved) will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
05. Pick-Your-Own Flower Experience
- The “Pick-Your-Own” experience is subject to seasonal availability and weather conditions.
- Entry to the farm and bouquet-picking area may require an admission fee or booking.
- Pricing of flowers may be set at an amount for a fixed number of stems or be priced per stem picked.
- Buckets, clippers, and guidance will be provided. Please handle flowers and equipment responsibly.
- All flowers picked must be paid for before leaving the farm. No exchanges or refunds for picked flowers.
- All visitors must follow safety guidelines and instructions from staff.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
06. Workshops, Talks & Tours
- Events may include floral arranging, gardening workshops, seasonal talks, and farm tours.
- Advance booking and payment are required to secure attendance.
- Ticket fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us. No refunds for no-shows.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to weather, low attendance, or other operational reasons.
- Attendees participate at their own risk and must follow all safety and conduct guidelines.
07. Wedding and Event Flower Supply
- Wedding and event bookings must be made at least 4–6 weeks in advance (depending on scale).
- A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date, with final balance due 14 days before the event.
- All designs are seasonal and subject to flower availability. Substitutions may occur at our discretion to maintain design integrity.
- Cancellation of event services within 30 days of the event may result in full or partial forfeiture of payment.
- A written contract and custom proposal will govern wedding and event bookings and must be signed by both parties.
08. Customer Conduct and Safety
- Children must be supervised at all times while on the farm.
- Visitors must remain in designated public areas and refrain from damaging plants or property.
- Aggressive or disrespectful behaviour toward staff or other guests will result in immediate removal from the premises.
- Pets are not permitted unless specifically allowed for certain events.
09. Intellectual Property
- All content on our website, including photos, text, branding, and workshop material, is protected by copyright and may not be copied, shared, or reproduced without our written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or participation in our services.
- By visiting the farm or attending events, you accept the risks inherent to outdoor and farm-based activities.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
- We are not liable for any allergic reactions or misuse of botanical items.
12. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including weather, strikes, transport interruptions, or regulatory restrictions.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate South African courts.
14. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will take effect once published on our website. Your continued use of our services implies acceptance of any updated terms.
